Breathalyzersonline.com.au is an online retailer of Breathalysers and De-Humidifiers. Their AdWords campaigns were being managed in-house due to the poor results they had received from other agencies in the past. The ongoing management of these campaigns was taking up too much time for the client, so they wanted to have the account managed externally again, but needed to see results.
Before the client felt comfortable moving forward with Flight Digital, we performed a full AdWords audit of their account over the last 3 years. We used all this data to see where we could make improvements and provide the client with a forecast of how much we could improve the account performance. We engaged the client on a short term agreement until they could see the benefit of working with us.
Once the agreement was in place, we restructured the whole AdWords account to ensure that the match type strategy was more sophisticated than previous and that all the AdGroups and Campaigns were all tightly themed. We also reviewed all their Google Shopping campaigns to find out the best converting keywords from those campaigns, so that we could replicate these over to Search.
The improvements to the Search account was almost immediate. Over a 9 month period, the average monthly revenue increased by 35% and average monthly sales went up by 138%. With the new AdWords structure, we also helped reduce the cost per click of the account by 7%. This drop in CPC helped improve the Return on Ad Spend and deliver more traffic.
